Dodge is unlocking the full potential of the 2023 Dodge Durango with a mighty supercharged V-8 engine to make it the best three-row SUV available!
The interior of the Durango is luxurious yet sleek while still offering many options for different situations. There are over 50 seating configurations to arrange the interior to fit your needs for cargo and passengers. These extra seating configurations may have something to do with the three rows for seats that allow room for up to seven people. Depending on the trim level and configuration, the 2023 Dodge Durango can lug between six and seven passengers as well as their cargo comfortably. The second row features fold and tumbles seats that make navigating through the vehicle quick and seamless. The Citadel version also has heated and ventilated second-row seats for even more comfort.
The 2023 Dodge Durango offers eleven exterior colors to choose from as well as various LED headlamps and fog lamps. The Class-Exclusive Dodge Brand signature LED Racetrack Taillamp also makes its return from previous models. The automatic high-beam headlights will help guide you through the night or when traversing foreign trails and backroads. These headlights come standard on the R/T, Citadel, SRT 392, and SRT Hellcat. You can also give the Durango a more menacing look with classic dual racing stripes which are available on the R/T and SRT models. It’s also great that you can take advantage of the size and power of the Durango with the Stow N Place roof rack that allows you to store up to 150 pounds of cargo.
The power of the 2023 Dodge Durango starts off with the 3.6-liter V6 engine with 293 horsepower at 6,400 RPMs, which can be upgraded into the 6.2-liter V8 engine capable of 710 horsepower at 6,100 RPMs. The 3.6L V6 engine can deliver 260-lb-ft of torque with a towing capacity of 6,200 lbs, meanwhile, the Supercharged 6.2L V8 engine can deliver 645-lb-ft of torque with a towing capacity of up to 8,700 lbs. The engines all have different goals for different models with the 5.7L V8 included standard with the R/T, 6.4L V8 in the SRT 392 and the most advanced 6.2L V8 included in the incredibly fast SRT Hellcat.
This type of power is great to have, but it’s just as important to have control over it. This is where the 52/48 weight distribution comes into play, allowing the Durango to shift with the drive axle to increase downforce and improve traction. The new trailer sway control also applies brake pressure to alternating wheels to ensure stable and consistent towing. Speed will never be an issue with high-end transmissions like the eight-speed automatic transition along with the AWD systems in place to give you the smoother driving experience possible.
Safety is Dodge’s top priority and it’s important to have features that ensure the security of the driver and other passengers as well. Here are a few features implemented to make sure you get to your destination safely as possible.
